2026 Wake County Speedway Media Day
- Race Teams -
Saturday, March 7th, is an Open Practice Day for ALL NASCAR Local Racing Series and INEX Racing Series teams competing for track championship points at Wake County Speedway in 2026.

Drivers: Be prepared to have your photo taken for our website. Please wear your firesuit for official photos. You will need to complete a short driver profile when your photo is taken by Winged Velocity staff.

All drivers planning to compete at Wake County Speedway in 2026 are encouraged to take part in media interviews during Media Day.​​​​
- Media -
All media members are invited to cover the event. There is no need to pre-register, but you will need to sign our waiver at the Pit Gate to enter the pits. *Media are considered to be affiliated with a news organization or individuals with professional media equipment. (Cell phone camera jockeys can watch for free from the grandstands.)

Media Day interviews with drivers will take place during the mid-day practice break from 2 pm to 3 pm.
- Spectators -
Race fans may enter the grandstands at the Main Ticket Gate near the race tower. Media Day/Open Practice is FREE to attend. You may bring in your own food and beverages, but absolutely NO glass bottles allowed. There will be no concessions available at the speedway for this event. Spectators are not allowed in the Pit Areas.
