Paul TidwellAs much as I'd love to see the Sportman LM back; dont know that you would/could have any kind of car count. Throw it out there to those who have had or still have these cars see if they would want to come back to WCS, the best short track to watch these cars battle it out around.1 week ago
Paul TidwellDo a season finally of RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG!!!! Make limited motor and setup rules and see what happens, any motor types and car types, just have to meet safety requirements!!!!!!!! I feel it would definetly PACK OUT the stands.1 week ago
Bryce Clodfelter Jr.Love seeing the Legends and the Bandos, my kid definitely likes the bandos. Maybe have some night with go-karts running. The Allison cars usually put up a good show as well.1 week ago

Paul TidwellInversion of field, give these drivers who are dominating an incentive to start in the rear and charge their way back to the front. For instance, if a driver wins 2 races back to back, he gets the option to start in the rear of the field, this would include any classes that are double races, such as chargers and LM as well as UCAR and Minis (LAST CAR TO TAKE THE GREEN FLAG). With that option give the driver an incentive to make that start in the rear, extra track points, extra money, ect. Id also implement if you win 3 back to back to back, its a mandatory start in the rear of the field, at least in their perspective divisions.1 week ago   ·  1

Wake County Speedway will have a booth this Saturday at Brier Creek Commons for the Gigi's Cupcake 5k. We hope you can stop by!

"This run/walk course is beginner friendly and takes you through Brier Creek Commons. After starting in front of Gigi's Cupcakes you will have one last chance to wave to your friends and family as you head towards Dick's Sporting Goods thru Brier Creek. But don’t worry, they will be entertained by the sounds of DJ Alex while visiting our event sponsor booths and checking out their giveaways. The kids may decide to take a jump in the bouncy house. Regardless, they won’t even know you’re gone by the time you return with your own personal record for this second year event. Everyone will be waiting at the finish line to cheer you on!

A special treat will be waiting for you at the finish line to celebrate your accomplishment, compliments of Gigi's Cupcakes of Brier Creek!

But what makes this race the coolest is not only will you receive a Gigi's Cupcake but you will also receive a Gigi’s Cupcakes Finisher's Medal for accomplishing your amazing finish! Tell your friends, family, co-workers – put together a team and encourage everyone to come out to support Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina by participating in the Gigi's Cupcakes 5k - presented by FS Series.

Register now, this will be a popular event"
