George FendleyLast Friday was my first time at this track.it was boring.the racing was done by 945pm.to much time getting the pace car out when it was not needed.and you spent too much time interviewing 2nd and 3rd .how about some heat races.the stands were so hard to climb that I fell.the hand rail was covered with link fencing.the only good thing I saw how was the rest rooms were the cleanest I've ever seen at a racetrack.4 days ago

After being very disappointed today with having to call the race, we did quite a bit of research on the internet looking for a solution to help with the weeping issue on the track. We did find a product that we think will help and have ordered it to apply to the cracks and other areas of the surface. There is nothing more frustrating than to have reasonably decent weather and still not be able to race. We will make every effort to enhance the surface of the track so hopefully we can avoid this type of situation in the future. Thank you to all the fans and racers for your support! ... Chris StancilFirst....Seal the top of the track outside of the wall to keep the water from coming in and running under the track. Then use a pavement sealer for the cracks on the track or repave the corners or ur going to have this problem all season. Mother Nature loves to rain on Thursday nite and Friday morning.1 month ago   ·  3

Unfortunately we have to call off tonight’s race due to excessive rain over the last several days and pending rain later tonight. It is also currently raining at the track this morning. We would need a bunch of sun today to dry things out and it’s just not going to happen. We will assign a make-up day for this race within the next several weeks. Our next scheduled race will be Friday May 1st. This is disappointing for all of us. (2 photos) ... See MoreSee Less

Jim PlaceNeed more bomber cars! Back at the old Portland Speedway, if the track was wet they started the show. If it rained half way through the show, they raced again! What a bummer, once that water starts pushing out of those cracks its very hard to stop it. See you in two weeks!1 month ago   ·  1
