Renfrow Wins Opening Night At Wake County Speedway

Randy Renfrow from Willow Spring turned back all challengers Friday night to win the 60 lap “Click It Or Ticket” Late Model Feature at America’s Favorite Bullring.

Clay Jones from Goldsboro roared under the stripe in 2nd place followed by Alex Fleming, Raleigh with Daniel Voncannon from Fuquay-Varina and “Shotgun” Miller from Apex rounding out the top 5 positions.

Chad Williams from Angier moved up to the Mini Stock class this year and ran a great race holding off Jeremy Ottaway, Raleigh to grab his 1st win in the Hocutt’s Automotive  30 lap feature. Andrew Howe, Apex came home in third place followed by Michael Woodard from Raleigh and Jason Stephenson from Archer’s Lodge. 

The INEX Legends ran twin 20 lap features with Jason Austin from Raleigh picking up the victory in race #1 holding off Emily Day from Garner with Billy Hall, Greenville in 2nd and 3rd place when the checkered flag flew. Zack Brown from Holly Springs and Chris Stancil rounded out your top 5 finishers. Zack Brown added his name to the winners list in feature #2 holding off Billy Hall for the victory. Emily Day crossed the line in 3rd place followed by Chris Stancil and Jason Beck from Fayetteville.

The Bombers alway’s put on a great show, the top five car numbers were 13, 83, 84, 69 and 100, i’ll have names to match numbers next report.
